Dean P. Sullivan, the son of Dr. and Mrs. Dean P. Sullivan Sr. D.D.S, was born May 13, 1939 at Deaconess Hospital in Billings, Montana.

Dean attended Fratt Elementary School and Central High School while growing up in Billings, Montana. Dean moved to Helena, Montana to attended Carroll College in pursuit of a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Biology and Chemistry. Dean continued his education by attending a summer session in 1960 at Kansas University. Dean furthered his education, and relocated to Omaha, Nebraska to attend Creighton University, thereby being awarded the degree of “Doctor of Dental Surgery” in 1964.

Most young men of Dean’s generation enlisted in the Armed Services and Dean was of no exception. In 1964, Dean P. Sullivan became a member of the United States Air Force located at Travis Air Force Base in Fairfield, California and was honorably discharged from service in 1966 as a Captain of the Dental Corps.

In 1966, an opportunity presented itself in Minneapolis, Minnesota where Dean instructed dentistry Part-time at the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry for over 5 years while establishing a private practice from 1966 to 1985.

In 1985, Dr. Sullivan returned to Billings to establish his practice.

Realizing the need for quality denture design and care, the Heights Denture Clinic was established in 1998, and is now the Billings Denture Clinic.

Dr. Sullivan recently taught dental hygiene at the Sheridan College in Sheridan, Wyoming.
