No. Dr. Bronecki does not place the implant. A referral to an oral surgeon is provided. Dr. Bronecki decides where the implant needs to be placed and works closely with the oral surgeon to ensure their objective is achieved.

Can anyone get implants?

No. Unfortunately some individuals are not a candidate for implants. The only way to know for certain is to be seen by an oral surgeon. Dr. Bronecki does the initial interview with the patient then provide a referral.

How long does the implant process take?

Implants require several months specifically for the healing process. Everyone heals at a different rate so the process is individualized. Bone must form around the implant before an abutment and crown are placed.

Which is better getting an implant and crown or root canal and crown?

This is a difficult questions to answer, if its determined the patient is a candidate for an implant; there are several factors to consider. Your age, long-term implications, value versus cost and time. The doctors can help answer any questions but the patient must ultimately make the final choice.
